All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Jerome Keith Post - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 4, 1953 Heart Ailment Takes Life Of Local Citizen Jerome Keith Post, 59, well-known Madison Parish businessman and farmer, died early Monday morning in a Vicksburg, hospital. He was suffering a heart ailment. A native of Spencerville, Ohio he had resided in Tallulah for the past 40 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the American Legion and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Claudia Post; one son, Jerome K. Post, Jr., with the Air Force in Washington, D. C.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Post, Tallulah; three brothers, John Post, of Montgomery, Ala., Frank Post, of Boston, Mass., and Harold Post, of Tallulah; two sisters, Miss Mary Post, Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Edith Keiger, Wichita Fall, Texas. Funeral services were held at 3 p. m. Tuesday at the Tallulah Baptist Church with Rev. Shirley Briggs officiating. Interment under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were: J. W. Rogillio, C. E. Walker, Cliff Adams, Lamar Loe, Williams Parks, Albert Sevier, Stuart Moberley and Rod Naylor. Honorary pallbearers included: Dr. S. H. Provine, Dr. J. Roy Medlin, M. A. Phillips, A. J. Boswell, John Popewell, Sam Vilardo, Andrew L. Sevier, Ralph Loe, Cliff Erwin, D. D. Woods, C. W. Spencer, James R. Linton, R. L. Moncrief, James Boles, L. Z. Naylor, W. F. Patton, R. W. Gandy, W. P.
