All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lydia Jackson Pollard-Corbin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 14, 1995 Services for Lydia Jackson Corbin were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing and the Rev. Nathan Henderson officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Corbin died Saturday, June 10, 1995, at Park View Regional Medical Center. She was 82. She was a native of Eudora, Ark., and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 62 years. She operated a restaurant, a catering service and a convenience store in Tallulah for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She is survived by one son, William E. "Buddy" Pollard of Tallulah; one daughter, Barbara Pollard Sevier of Midland, Texas; four sisters, Iola J. Walters of Eudora, Sue J. Pierce of Warren, Ark., Segis J. McKee of Tallulah and Pat J. Carter of Crescent City, Fla.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
