Pippin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 28, 1959 W. W. Pippin, Parish Ginner, Dies Saturday William W. Pippin, 58-year-old Tallulah resident, died late last Saturday enroute to the local hospital. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Pippin, who had lived in Tallulah for 18 years, operated two gins south of here. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active in civic work. He was born in North Carolina. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4:00 p. m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lucian Conway, former pastor, now of Alexandria, officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Louise Pippin; a son, Bill Pippin, Tallulah; his father, C. C. Pippin, Bunn, North Carolina; two brothers,, H. H. Pippin and L. L. Pippin, both of Bunn. Pallbearers were Phillip Scurria, A. N. Duke, Leander Grace, Howard Sevier, Wilbur Collins, B. G. Hammond (others.)
