All rights reserved. ************************************************ Irene Arender Piper - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 4, 2002 TALLULAH - Irene Arender Piper died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 84. Born in Magee, Mrs. Piper lived in Benton, Ark., for 20 years before moving to Tallulah five years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Beth Reinhart of Las Cruces, N.M., and Ann Piper of Berkeley, Calif.; two brothers, Billy Ray Arender and Donald Wayne Arender, both of Tallulah; two sisters, Ulma Clement of Transylvania and Shirley Baker of Wiggins; and a grandson, Toby Stewart of Berkeley. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charlie Hopkins, Alan Williamson, Dalton Fortenberry, Ray Jobe, George McDonald and LaBane Clement.
