July 29 (Special) Miss Florence Pierson, 82 died at the Madison Sanitarium early today. Born in Natchitoches Parish, she spent her girlhood in Alexandria had lived In Tallulah for the past thirty-five years. She was an active worker in the Episcopal Church. Miss Pierson is survived by a sister-in-law Mrs., J. H. Pierson, a niece, Mrs. Horace Lee, a great niece, Miss Lottie Louise Lee and two cousins, E. A. Beers And-Miss Annette Beers. Funeral services will be held from the Episcopal church Friday morning at 10 o'clock. The Reverend J. D. Gilliam will officiate. Burial will be in Silver Cross cemetery.
