All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Electa Catherine Pickle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 6, 1959 Mrs. Electa Pickle Dies Here Tuesday After Long Illness Mrs. Electa Catherine Pickle, a resident of Tallulah for the past 22 years, died at her home Tuesday afternoon after a long illness. She was 78. Mrs. Pickle was born in Kosciusko, Miss. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mary Horn, Tallulah; Mrs. C. C. Weems, Columbia, Miss.; Mrs. Ralph Holloway of Baton Rouge; two sons, David Pickle of Tallulah and George Pickle of Clinton, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. J. E. Furr of Tallulah, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held from Crothers Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. A. B. Pierce of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Furr, Lewis Furr, R. R. Mitchell, J. C. Byram, Nelson Goss and Roy Xxxx.
