All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Joy Griffing Phillips - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 13, 1986 Services for Joy Griffing Phillips, 71, were at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Edward R. Robertson officiating. Burial was in the Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road. She died Friday at the St. Francis Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Phillips was a resident of Tallulah for 51 years and a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Tallulah. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Mignon Zimmerman of San Diego, Calif. ; one niece, Andrea Zimmerman of Los Angeles; and one nephew, Mark Zimmerman of San Diego. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church.
