All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Gus Albert Peterson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 9, 1982 Services for Gus Albert Peterson, 16, were held at 10 a.m. at Tallulah First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. The teenager died Saturday at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Tallulah, a student at Tallulah Academy High School and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his father, Russell Petersen of Monroe; mother, Mrs. Lynn Goss of Tallulah; two brothers, Russell Petersen Jr., John Lee Petersen, both of Tallulah; sister, Margaret Petersen of Tallulah; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Petersen of Houston. Pallbearers were James Earl Ross, Ricky Landrem, Bill Walker, Bill Arbuckle, Brad Nolan, Larry Scurria, Racer Holstead and Curt Collins. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Tallulah Academy Junior Class.
