His wife who was in an adjoining room, reached him a few minutes after the tragedy, and found that he was still alive, and remained alive about twenty minutes, but had expired when a doctor arrived. No cause was assigned for the act. Pattison had lived in this vicinity for some time and this year started a crop, but after laying it by, sold out and moved to Tallulah. Recently he had been driving a seed truck. Funeral services were held here yesterday under the direction of the McKie-Crother Funeral Home, and interment was in the Silver Cross cemetery.
