Parks - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 1, 1986 Services for Mrs. Lois M. Parks, 71, were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Johnny Joiner officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery of Tallulah. Mrs. Parks died Thursday at Richland Parish Hospital in Rayville after a long illness. She was a native of Arkansas, a resident of Madison Parish for 28 years, a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Lamar Parks of Tallulah; one son, Kenneth Parks of Oak Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Patsy Reed of Glen Allan, Miss.; one brother, Jim Bill Grissom of Newellton; three sisters, Mrs. Verna Warwick of Hot Springs. Ark., Mrs. Dorothy Barrett of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Catherine Spears of Bakersfield, Calif.; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Harold Bolton, Marvin Johnson, Bennie Holloway, John Bowlin, Harmon Smith, and Gary Smith.
