All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Jim Parker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 4, 1979 Funeral services for Jim Parker, 77, of Fort Miro, Monroe, were held in Mulhearn Funeral chapel in Monroe with the Rev. John Traylor and Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Parker died Saturday in his home after a short illness. He was a retired Wildlife and Fisheries agent, and member of the Baptist Church in Monroe, Eastern Star Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar Commandary and Royal Arch and El Karuba Masons. He was also a longtime resident of Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Aida Watts Parker of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Lee Parker O'Neal of Ruston; a son, Warren Lovelace Parker of Delhi; three brothers, Frank Parker and Andrew Parker, both of Monroe, and Mack Parker of Sterlington; three sisters, Mrs. Irvie Humble, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs and Mrs. Myrtle Lee Thompson, all of Monroe; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Camois, George Jacobs, Floyd Humble, Felix Camois, M. L. Coleman, Buster Parker, Jerry Parker and Boyce Humble.
