All rights reserved. ************************************************ Irene Wilson Parker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, October 22, 2005 TALLULAH - Irene Wilson Parker died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Alexandria, La. She was 78. Mrs. Parker was a native and resident of Madison Parish. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Tallulah. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Parker. Survivors include one son, Bobby Ray Parker of Robertsville, Mo.; one daughter, Marion Fay Patin of Prairieville, La.; one sister, Irma Parker of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Pentecostal Church in Tallulah with the Revs. Greg Nichols and Donald Wayne Privett officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Melvin Whitaker, Jimmy Piercy, Lane Rhodes, Martin Parker, Ernest Williams, Carlton Whitaker and Charles Fondren. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
