Owen - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 6, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Katie L. Owen, 78, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Owen died Wednesday morning in the Madison Parish Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Forrest. Ms. and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 45 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Doty Springs Baptist Church in Attala County, Ms. Survivors include one sons. J. W. Owen of Bandera. Tx.; three daughters. Zola Jenkins of Pelahatchie, Ms., Sudie Hutto and Mildred Marsh, both of Tallulah : one step-brother. Jimmy Fields of Houston, Ala.: one half-brother, Richard Fields of Mobile. Ala.: seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gordon Hutton. Edward Wells. Robbie Jenkins. Billy Hutto, W. H. Marsh and Jimmy Hutto.
