All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Helen Marion Overholser - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 14, 1969 Former Resident Succumbs Mrs. Helen Marion Overholser of Sterling, Ill., died Tuesday, July 29, 1969, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Overholser was a resident of Tallulah for a number of years. She is survived by one son, Allan B. Mathews of Tallulah; two granddaughters, Mrs. Patrick McNeel of New Orleans and Mrs. Marguerite Haveland of Coleta, Ill., one grandson, Word Johnson of Sterling, Ill. and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Allen Funeral Home in Sterling, Ill., with Dr. L. M. Main officiating. Burial was in Round Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul K. Cheshier, Sr., Lee Henrichs, Robert Mathews, Martin Frankfother, Wesley Hicks, Ervin Walters. The family is making memorials to Round Grove Cemetery.
