All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Marilyn Louise Toney Osborn Madison Parish, LA March 25, 1952 ~ May 30, 2019 (age 67) From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Jume 2, 2019 Marilyn Louise Toney Osborn was born to Margaret “Sissy” Kirtley Toney and John “Red” Toney, Sr. at Hamilton Air Force Base in California on March 25, 1952. She was raised in Sebastopol, California, where she met and married the love of her life, Daryl Osborn. She and Daryl lived a colorful life and traveled the country, working on fishing docks in Utah, in toy factories in California, and in orchards in Washington. They lived and they laughed and they adventured. Marilyn and Daryl eventually settled in Tallulah, Louisiana, where they put down roots and started their family. Here, Marilyn was able to make her dream of becoming a nurse a reality. Marilyn died suddenly on May 30, 2019, at Madison Parish Hospital following a heart attack. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Osborn, and parents, Margaret “Sissy” Toney and John “Red” Toney, Sr., and brother, Edward “Eddie” Toney. Survivors include three children; daughter, Heather Osborn Naron and husband, Josh, daughter, Dalana Osborn Jacobs and husband, Tyrel, and son, Justin Osborn and wife, Lauren; five grandchildren: Lukas Naron, Layla Naron, Emmalynn Jacobs, Mason Osborn, and Kaylee Osborn; two brothers: John Toney, Jr. and wife, Judy, and Mark Toney and wife, Sue, and a number of nieces and nephews, both actual and honorary. Marilyn touched many lives, both personally and professionally, and leaves behind devoted friends and family who will feel her loss every day. Marilyn will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, Louisiana, with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. (Burial at Memorial Park in Tallulah.)
