All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lloyd Nolan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 21, 1968 Funeral Services Held Monday For Lloyd Nolan Funeral services for Lloyd Nolan, 46, were held at 4 p. m. Monday at Mission Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial followed in Providence Memorial Cemetery here under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Nolan, a life-long resident of Tallulah, died this past Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Veteran's Hospital in Jackson, apparently from a heart attack. He was a veteran of World War II and had been in the U. S. Marines, and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ramona Wilson Nolan, Tallulah; two sons, Johnny Nolan and Raymond Nolan, both of Tallulah; three daughters; Ramona Nolan, Susan Nolan and Sandy Nolan, all of Tallulah; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dink Smith, Mound; three sisters, Mrs. Earline Jackson and Mrs. Lucille Taylor, both of Tallulah, and Mrs. Billy Robertson, Victoria, Texas; one half-sister, Mrs Dorothy Ashley, Mound; and one half-brother, Roy Smith, Tallulah. Pallbearers were Charles L. Smith, Winston Wood, Wayne Denham, Joe Williamson, R. G. Waugh and W. M. Malone. Honorary pallbearers were members of Training Union Class of the Mission Baptist Church.
