All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ John Henry Nolan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 27, 1983 Services for John Henry Nolan, 66, were at 10 a.m. at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Noland died Wednesday afternoon at Vicksburg Medical Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss., after an illness. He was a native of Epps and a resident of Madison Parish for 44 years. He was a farmer and a member of Epps Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Mae Noland of Tallulah; a son, Wayne Noland of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Gayle Cummins of Tallulah and Mrs. Barbara Dodds of Ruston; two brothers, the Rev. J. P. Noland of West Monroe and Lucian Noland of Lake Providence; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Hale of Alexandria and Mrs. Betty Brewer of Epps; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wayne McKnight, Armon Cox, Pete DeSordi, Jesse Laird, Robert Adcock, Kent Brown, Larry Cox, and Sherman Show.
