M. Interment In Tallulah Cemetery LAKE PROVIDENCE, La., July 9-Miss Ida Noland, aged 87 years and one of this town's oldest and most prominent residents, died here early this morning. Miss Noland was born in Madison parish, August 27, 1859. She had resided in East Carroll parish since 1920. She was highly esteemed and was well known throughout this section of Louisiana. Deceased is survived by the following nieces, Mrs. Leo Shields, Tallulah, La.; Mrs. Fred Johnson, Shreveport, La.; Mrs. Harvey Cook, Anguilla, Miss.; Mrs. W. Y. Bell, Lake Providence, and these nephews, Noland and Will Harvey of Tallulah, La., and Thomas E. Noland of Lake Charles, La. Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, on Thursday at 9 a. m., with Reverend Father Herman Couvillion officiating. Interment will be in the cemetery at Tallulah. Walters funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
