Nolan Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 3, 2014 TALLULAH, La. - Charles L. Nolan Sr. died Dec. 30, 2013, at his home in Tallulah. He was 79. Mr. Nolan was a retired maintenance supervisor for LeTourneau Co. in Vicksburg. He was born in Union Parish, La., and had lived in Madison Parish 53 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tallulah. Survivors include two sons, Charles L. Nolan Jr., and Marty Nolan, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Sarah McVay of Vicksburg, and Betty Sue Rowan of Tallulah; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gene Stanley of Delhi, La., T.K. Stanley and Johnny Stanley, both of Monroe, La.; five sisters, Carolyn Mann of Delhi, Marilyn Nivans of Bastrop, La., Ann Harrell of Homer, La., Janet Williams of Monroe, and Linda Rollins of Marion, La. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at First United Methodiist Church in Tallulah, with Rev. Jim Reid and Dr. Chas Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service. Active pallbearers will be Trenton Owen, Johnny Stanley, Keith Stanley, Ricky Smith, Keith Smith, and Dylon Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Stuart McVay.
