James Eugene Neuroth - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 13, 2003 SHREVEPORT - James Eugene Neuroth died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at his home in Shreveport. He was 73. Mr. Neuroth was a retired truck driver for Gulf Oil Company and Wheeling Pipe Line. He was employed by Querbes Golf Course in Shreveport for 11 years. He was an Army veteran who served in World War II and was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Tryon. Survivors include four sons, James Neuroth Jr. and Bruce Darryl Neuroth, both of Shreveport, Thomas Wayne Neuroth of Simsboro, La., and Kenneth Allen of Arcadia, La.; a daughter, Alice N. Clary of Kilgore, Texas; four brothers, Wayne Neuroth of St. Joseph, Mike Tryon of Swartz, La., Gary Tryon of Conroe, Texas, and Frank Tryon of McKinnie, Texas; two sisters, Eva Reynolds and Kathleen Mills, both of Tallulah; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Ferreolus D'Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bobby Reynolds, David Neuroth, Mike Mills, Lemar Bullard, Pat Bullard, Vince Corulla, Ralph Reed, Carl Kowitz, Bill Kennedy and Jimmy Kowitz.
