Neumann - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, May 18, 2007 TALLULAH - Services for Virgil R. Neumann will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service. Mr. Neumann died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. He was 79. Mr. Neumann was born in Webster, Minn., and had lived most of his life in Madison Parish. He was an Army veteran and a retired farmer. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two sons, Dr. Ed Neumann and Dr. Paul Neumann, both of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Maria Bacalis of Monument, Colo.; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a caretaker, Ruth Hall Neumann. Pallbearers will be Robert A. Neumann, Dr. Thomas A. Neumann, Dr. L.P. Neumann Jr., Charles L. Roberson, Leonard E. Neumann, Christopher C. Neumann, David Neumann and Perry P. Bacalis.
