All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mabel Jane Neumann - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 21, 1964 Funeral Services For Mrs. Neumann Held February 14 Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Jane Neumann, 82, who died in a Lake Providence Nursing home after a long illness was held at the First Baptist Church at 10 a. m. last Friday with the Rev. Oster Daniels officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Lake Benton, Minn., Mrs. Neuman had resided here for the past 32 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Waldo Neumann, Tallulah; three sons, Donald, Leonard and Virgil Neumann, all of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Majorie Evans, Bastrop; two brothers, Solon Somers, Battle Creek, Minn., and Joe Somers, Donna, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Inez Jacobs, Frazee, Miss., Mrs. Loretta Golightly, Winnfield, Kansas and Mrs. Maude Pickering, Rochester, Wis., 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Pete Copes, Harold Post, Charles Arneson, A. L. Harvey, Clay Crawford, Ernest Stewart, Clem Dalhauser and Bill Loflin.
