Neumann Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, September 9, 2008 TALLULAH — Funeral services for Donald O. Neumann Sr., age 92, of Tallulah, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Neumann died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at his residence near Tallulah. He was born in Webster, Minn., and had lived in Madison Parish since 1932 and was a farmer. Mr. Neumann was a member of First Baptist Church in Tallulah. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II as a tail gunner on a bomber. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Virgil Neumann; and one sister, Margie Evans. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Hattaway Neumann of Tallulah; one son, Donald O. Neumann Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Joyce Guimbellot and husband James of Vicksburg; one stepdaughter, Becky Gunn and husband Gary of Tallulah; six grandchildren, M. Shane Guimbellot, Carla V. Jamison, Danea M. Guimbellot-Polk, Dr. Jennifer S. Guimbellot, April Jones and Brandi Gunn; and five great-grandchildren, Mirette Guimbellot, Claire Jamison, Joshua Jamison, Madelyn Polk and Jordan Polk. Active pallbearers are Dr. L.P. Neumann, Dr. T.A. Neumann, Bobby Neumann, David Neumann, Shane Guimbellot, Jimmy Hattaway, Ted Busby and Johnny Peters. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Craft, James Still, Edgar Lancaster, R.R. Mitchell, Lloyd Hattaway and B.B. Harmon
