All rights reserved. ************************************************ Charles William Netterville Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, June 12, 2004 TALLULAH — Charles William Netterville Sr. died Friday, June 11, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 67. Born in Newellton, La., Mr. Netterville graduated in 1954 from Newellton High School. He had lived in Tallulah for 44 years and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after 38 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tallulah. Mr. Neterville was preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Wenonah Netterville. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Gentry Netterville of Tallulah; a son, Charles W. “Billy” Netterville of Lafayette, La.; a daughter, Debra Lynn Peterson of Destin, Fla.; a sister, Martha Louise Keyes of Newellton; five grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Paul Sabin officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dick Brown, Robert Charles Brown, Jerry McDonald, Dewayne Smith, Dr. Joe Yerger and Leon Minksy. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Osborne, Dr. Daniel Edney, Ernest Taylor and Dr. Max Roth. Memorials may be make to the First United Methodist Church in Tallulah.
