Nelson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 1, 1968 Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. A. V. Nelson Funeral services for Mrs. A. V Nelson, 76, who died unexpectedly at her home Saturday morning al 6:20 of a heart attack were held Monday at 10 a. m. Services were conducted at Crothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clark Bell officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Mansfield, Texas, she had lived in Tallulah since 1920. She was a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Archie V. Nelson, of Tallulah; three sons, Raymond of Hamilton, Ohio, Wiley Motley of Arlington, Texas, and Bobby Nelson of Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. A. G. Blessing and Mrs. Lula Back, both of Mansfield, Texas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were George Spinks, R. E. Fowler, W. M. Malone, John Frank Olvey, Charlie Phillips, M. A. Phillips, Stanley Harmon and ????
