Neighbors - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 11, 1983 Services for Mrs. Dezzie M. Neighbors, 66, were at 2 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Revs. Xxxx Xxxard and Alton Hodnett officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah. Mrs. Neighbors died Friday at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was a native of Mize, Miss., and a resident of Tallulah for 48 years. She was a housewife and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Joe Neighbors of West Monroe and Billy F. Neighbors of Selma, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Hettie Popwell and Mrs. Earnestine Pruett, both of Tallulah; and 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bobby Neighbors, Billy Neighbors, Dean Lenard, Don Byrd, Randy Pruett, Ronnie Ritter and Roy Reed.
