Neighbors - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 31, 1964 Services For C. O. Neighbors Held Monday Funeral services for Chauncy O. Neighbors, 56, who died here Friday night, were held Monday afternoon at 2 p. m. at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Beaver Dam, Ky., he had lived in Tallulah for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Mission of First Baptist Church. He was employed as a machinest at Chicago Mill and Lumber Company. Survivors include his widow; Mrs. Daizy Neighbors, two sons, Bobby Neighbors, of New Orleans and Billy Neighbors, with the U. S. Air Force in New Mexico; one brother, Harry Neighbors, of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Burks Thomas of Monroe, and Mrs. Marie Dickerson of Hobbs, N. M., and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were O. W. Hogue, Marion Smith, Elijah Seffens, Elmer Kowitz, Hermon Thornton, W. J. Boone, and Moss Christian.
