George Neal Jan. 30, 1935 - May 10, 2011 Resident of Pittsburg


George was born in Newellton, LA and educated in Tallulah, LA. He joined the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1963. George moved to Pittsburg, CA in 1956 and worked for Fiberboard Corp. and Gaylord Container Corp. George was a member of Greater Faith M.B. Church.


He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 43 years, Ruth Neal; sons, Donald, Herman, Randy Kerry Taylor and Johnnie Modica; daughters, Dorothy Taylor, Rhonda, Theassa Shonda Modica; sister, Ruby Mabry; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives friends.


Visitation: Tues. May 17, 3-8pm Quiet Hour from 6:30-7:30pm at Dan Scales Funeral Services, 107 W. 8th St, Pittsburg. Funeral Service: Wed. May 18, 11am at Greater Faith M.B. Church, 4150 Railroad Ave, Pittsburg.
