All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Louise Sevier Nadler - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 2, 1944 Former Tallulah Woman Loses Life When Home Burns Mrs. Allan Nadler of Plaquemine, La., lost her life when her home was destroyed by fire at 2:00 o'clock Thursday morning. She was the former Miss Emma Louise Sevier, daughter of the late Andrew J. Sevier and Mrs. Sevier. She is survived by her mother and a brother, John Donaldson Sevier in addition to her husband and two children. Word was received in Tallulah yesterday that Mrs. Nadler succumbed from fumes in the burning home, and that Mr. Nadler was badly burned and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The two children, Allan, Jr. and Andrew, were not at home at the time, being with their grandmother Mrs. Allan Nadler, Sr., in Plaquemine. Besides those named above Mrs. Nadler is survived by many relatives here as well as numerous friends. Interment was in Plaquemine Cemetery Friday at 4:00 p. m.
