All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Tinny Whitley Mosley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home November 25, 2017 Tinny Whitley Mosley was born June 26, 1934 in Durant, Mississippi. She crossed over to her heavenly home while surrounded by loved ones on November 24, 2017 at the age of 83 years young. She helped raise many children at Tinny Tots Nursery. She was a long time employee of almost 40 years for Paul Meeks at the now Great Day Inc. She was a well loved member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Tinny Mosley was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, John W. Mosley; her parents, Albert Whitley and Annie Simmons Whitley; sister, Linny Whitley Allen; and daughters in law, Peggy Mosley and Billie Jean Mosley. She is survived by her siblings, Lottie Ann Coody, AJ Whitley and wife, Wanda, Betty Price, Cecil Whitley, Gainelle Brewer and husband, Jessie, Ruby Freeman and husband, Gary, Norma Jean Stanley and husband, Ted. She is also survived by one daughter, Hazel Mosley Stampley and husband, Ronnie of Tallulah, one son, Robert Mosley of Port Gibson, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Scott Whitley, Steve Whitley, Chris Coody, Christopher Keaton, Jesse Brewer Jr., and Michael Avery. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of First Baptist Church. Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Tallulah First Baptist Church with Pastor Jason McGuffie officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Silver Cross Cemetery. Services will be held under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
