Morrison - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 25, 1973 Dewey Morrison rites held Funeral services for Dewey F. Morrison, 74, of Tallulah were held Monday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah with the Rev. J. E. Burgess officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Morrison died Saturday at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss., after a brief illness. A native of Ardola, Mo., he had resided in Madison Parish for 28 years and was a retired farmer. Survivors include one son, J. D. Morrison of Pasadena, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Salemi of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Virginia Fondren of Tallulah; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Albert Fondren of Tallulah and Vincent Salemi of Los Angeles, Calif.; and one daughter-in- law, Mrs. Doris Jean Morrison of Pasadena, Tex. Pallbearers were Floyd Williams, .James Parker, Beecher Lowery, Bill Lite, A. E. Fisher and Charley Jobe.
