SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services
celebrating the life of Margaret Ann Morris, 86, will be held Monday, June 10,
2013, at 1:00 p.m., in
Centuries
Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jerry Hodges officiating. Interment will
follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive
friends from 5:00 p.m.,
Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morris was born
February 7, 1929 in Tallulah, LA to Claude and Leah Keller. She passed away
Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Shreveport, LA.
Mrs. Morris was a
member of University Church of Christ. A loving wife and mother, she devoted
herself to caring for her daughter, Debra.
Left to cherish her
beautiful memories are her beloved husband of sixty three years, J.B. Morris,
her daughter, Debra Susan Morris and numerous
nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Honoring Mrs. Morris
as pallbearers will be Danny Lex, Byron Lex, Tommy Rabon, Jim Mitchell,
Jim Wallis, and James Hampton.
Honorary pallbearer
will be Robert McMillan.
Memorial
contributions may be made to University Church of Christ.
The family would like
to extend special thanks to the staff of Heritage Manor Stratmore
Nursing and Rehab and to Life Path Hospice Care of Shreveport
for their care and
compassion shown to Mrs. Morris.
