All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Morgan Morgan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star January 17, 1973 TALLULAH — Funeral services for Morgan Morgan, 63, of Tallulah, will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. C. C. Cornelius officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Morgan died Tuesday at his home after a long illness. He was a native of Baywood and a resident of Madison Parish for the past three years. He was a former tugboat captain for the Port of New Orleans and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lovie Morgan of Tallulah; one son, Larry Morgan of New Orleans; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Mayeaux of Avondale, Mrs. John Depriest of New Orleans and Miss Lavonne Morgan of Tallulah; one brother, John P. Morgan of Vicksburg, Miss.; four sisters, Mrs. John Turner of Delecroux Island, Mrs. Earl Thomas of New Orleans, Mrs. E. H. Jacobson of Osyka, Miss., and Mrs. Richard Juliac of San Antonio, Tex.; and four grandchildren.
