Morgan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 24, 1990 Funeral services for Mr. John S. Morgan, 52, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Pierce and Rev. Billy West officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Morgan died Saturday at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Tex. following a lengthy illness. Mr. Morgan was a native of Pioneer and a longtime resident of Tallulah and Bossier City. He was a construction equipment salesman, an Air Force veteran and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Anne Scott Morgan of Pioneer; two daughters, Staci Fayard of Bossier City and Kim Badiali of Mansfield; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Morgan of Pioneer; one brother, Bobby Morgan of Darnell; five sisters, Mae Dean Copes, Patsy Windham, Reba McLemore, all of Pioneer; Peggy Grant of West Monroe and Sue Norville of Deer Park, Tex.; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were George Scott, William Scott, Clyde Self, Barry Borden, Stan Morgan and Danny Morgan.
