All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Chester Morgan, Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 23, 1966 Chester Morgan, School Board Member Dies Funeral services for Chester Morgan, Sr., who died at a Houston, Texas hospital early Monday, were held Tuesday at 3 p. m. at the First Baptist Church of Waverly with the Rev. J. D. Walters officiating. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery in Delhi. Mr. Morgan was a member of the Madison Parish School Board, farmer and cattleman. He was a Mason and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Laura Morgan, Tallulah; two sons, Chester and James Paul Morgan, both of Tallulah; two daughters, Beverly Jane and Sue Amanda Morgan, both of Tallulah; four sisters, Mrs. Andrew Veazey, Gonzales; Mrs. E. T. Brouellette, Crowley; Mrs. Henry Noel, Abbeville; Mrs. H. L. Harkens, Abbeville; four brothers, Clifton and Eugene Morgan, Tallulah; Floyd Morgan, New Orleans, and Milton Morgan, Bonita.
