Robert Michael (Mike) Moore, Sr. went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2020. He was 55 years old.

 

He was born on November 15, 1964 in Delhi, LA. He worked as a combination Fireman, Truck Driver, and Mechanic. He drove an 18 wheeler truck all over the United States, Alaska and Canada. He loved to ride motorcycles and many times lead the Christmas parade for Toys for Tots in Monroe, LA. He loved fishing. He taught RA's at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah, LA. He was a jack of all trades.

 

He is survived by his mother and step-father Marie Jobe and Judd Castle; a son Robert Michael  Moore, Jr.; a step- daughter Tori Schreffler; one brother Gregory Todd Moore (Tabitha; 2 nieces Paige Moore, Alexis Moore; one step-niece Brooke Nevels; one nephew Landon Nevels; 2 uncles Tommy Jobe and Ray Jobe (Peggy) both of Tallulah, LA; 3 aunts Linda Vines (Huey) of Vicksburg, MS, Nellie Simmons (Newtie) of Tallulah, LA and Sadie Moore; numerous cousins.

 

He is preceded in death by his father Robert W. Moore; brother James Ray Moore; maternal grandparents James B. and Lillie Mae Jobe and his paternal grandparents Lloyd and Annis Moore.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on January 11, 2020 at Goodrum Baptist Church, 4569 Fisher Ferry Rd, Vicksburg ,MS .Contributions in memory of Robert (Mike) may be made to Goodrum Baptist Church, 4569 Fisher Ferry Rd., Vicksburg, MS 39180.
