All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Zola Sorey Montgomery - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 2, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Zola Sorey Montgomery, 96, of Winnsboro were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with Rev. Debra Lee officiating. Burial was in Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Mrs. Montgomery died Friday at the Kings Guest Home in Winnsboro. She was a native of Richland Parish, a lifetime resident of Madison Parish, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Winnsboro, Daughters of American Revolution, a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the Winnsboro Garden Club. She taught in the Madison and Franklin parish public schools. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Stirman of Dallas, Mrs. Ann Levert of Shreveport and Mrs. Lillian Baker of Winnsboro: 7 grand-children and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Billy Ray Smith, J. W. Holloway, Aaron Scott, Howard Colbert, E. Rudolph McIntyre and Dr. Brashear Earl.
