All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** William Moffett Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 18, 1997 Funeral services for Mr. William Lee Moffett Sr., age 65, will be held Wednesday, June 18, in the Chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Xxxxx officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Moffett died Sunday, June 1997, in Columbia-Springhill Medical Center in Springhill, La., after a sudden illness. He was a native of Winn Parish, and had lived in Tallulah all his life. He was a retired office manager for Peyton Distributors. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, a member of the V.F.W., a member of the Vicksburg American Legion. Mr. Moffett is survived by his wife, Mildred "Millie" Kugler Moffett of Tallulah; two sons, Kevin Moffett and Wilburn Moffett Jr., both of Tallulah; two brothers, Winston Moffett of Tallulah and Billy Moffett of Stamps, Ark.; and two sisters, Jean Richardson of Rayville, La., and Irma Redd of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ashby and Clara Moffett and his brother, Charles Moffett. Pallbearers are Charles Roney, Jerry Moffett, Richard Marshall, Gerald Lott, Odell Redd and Clyne Elledge. Honorary pallbearers are Fred Peyton and the staff from Peyton Distributors.
