A graveside service will be held for Mr. Doyle Lorenz Mobley, 82, Monday, May 3, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Bro. Jay Parker officiating under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Visitation will be held Monday, May 3, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Mr. Mobley passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born July 29, 1938, in Delhi, Louisiana, to William Mansel and Zula Johns Mobley. Mr. Mobley served in the Airforce for four years in Thule, Greenland. He met and married his wife, Donna Mae Allen, while he was stationed in California. The couple returned home to Tallulah where he made his living farming, and they raised three children.

Mr. Mobley loved to ride around with his wife, just enjoying the countryside and visiting with his friends. His greatest love was his family, and he loved family gatherings. He also liked hunting with his bother.

Mr. Mobley was preceded in death by his parents, William and Zula Mobley; son, Lorenz Mobley; and brother Billy Mobley. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna; children, Michael and Michele Mobley; grandchildren, Kenny Goulette, Kiley Goulette, Mindy Olivoe and husband, Dewayne, Kodey Goulette, and Christopher Mobley and wife, Courtney; seven great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Angel Mobley; brother, Dalton Mobley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be  Kenny Goulette, Christopher Mobley, Dewayne Olivoe, Shan Shivers, Shannon Shivers, and Jackie Mobley. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Beard and Kodey Goulette.
