All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Edwin Stuart Moberley, Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 16, 1979 Funeral services for Edwin Stuart Moberley, Jr., 56, were held Wednesday at the Tallulah Methodist Church with Rev. Ned Stout officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Moberley died Tuesday in Madison Parish Hospital after an illness. He was a lifelong resident of Tallulah, a farmer, a member of board of directors of Southern National Bank of Tallulah, owner of the Tallulah grain elevator and a member of the Tallulah Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Moberley of Tallulah; a son, Stuart Moberley III of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Cherry Poole of Vicksburg, Miss., and Mrs. Karen Varner of Tallulah; his mother, Mrs. Louise Kaufman of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Jeanne Bearden of Tallulah; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Warren Patrick, Jack Folk, R. C. Todd, Albert Paxton, Bob Gaumnitz, Paul W. Meek, Odo Cagnolatti and Amy Sevier.
