All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Jerome Minsky - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 25, 1977 Funeral services for Jerome Minsky of Tallulah were at held 2 p.m. in the chapel of Frank Fisher Funeral Home of Vicksburg, officiated by Rabbi Allan Schwartzman. Burial was in the Vicksburg Jewish Cemetery. Mr. Minsky died early Friday morning in Regional Medical Center of an apparent heart attack. A native of Ft. Wayne, Ind., he had lived most of his life in Tallulah. He was a registered pharmacist and an employee of Bloom Drug Co. of Tallulah. He was a member of the Anshe Chesed congregation and Temple Men's Club of Vicksburg. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Meites of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Genevieve Minsky Caldwell of Tallulah, and Miss Irene Minsky of Tallulah; one brother, Leon Minsky of Lake Providence; two aunts, Miss Ida Bloom and Mrs. Mildred Kern, both of Tallulah; one uncle, Ralph Bloom of Tallulah; 14 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers, nephews of Mr. Minsky, were Reynold Minsky, Louis Minsky, James David Caldwell, Leon Minsky, Arnold Abramson, Dr. Jerry Rankin, Dr. Michale Rankin, Louis M. Caldwell and Salvadore Salemi.
