All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Dorothy Anne Woodyear Millikin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home November 7, 2017 Dorothy Anne Woodyear Millikin of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on November 4, 2017, in Baton Rouge. Mrs. Millikin, 81, grew up and resided in Madison Parish for most of her life. She was born on August 29, 1936, in Vicksburg, MS. She was a graduate of Tallulah High School and attended Centenary College. She and her husband, Jack, owned and operated Crow Drugs and The Wishing Well gift shop in Tallulah until their retirement. Mrs. Millikin gave generously of her time and at her death attended St. James Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, but remained a parishioner of Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Anne (D. Anne) Millikin Ainsworth (Rickey) of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Jacqueline Ainsworth Bloemer (Brett), Richard Carneal Ainsworth (Mauriel) and Emily Caroline Ainsworth; and a great-grandson, John Jackson Ainsworth. Also surviving her are her sister-in-law, Mary Acosta Woodyear; her brother-in-law, Dr. Leonard Paul “Pop” Neumann, Jr; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hightower Millikin; her father, Edgar Carneal “Blue” Woodyear, Sr.; her mother, Dorothy Maxwell Woodyear; and siblings, Susan Woodyear Ingram, Edgar Carneal Woodyear, Jr., Emily Woodyear Neumann and Mary Woodyear Gallent. Visitation will be held in the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah on Thursday, November 9, from noon to 1 PM with a Eucharist following. Burial will be at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Pallbearers will be Carneal Ainsworth, Brett Bloemer, Len Neumann, Ben Neumann, Chris Neumann, David Gallent, Phillip Bowen and Neal Elliott. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Trinity Episcopal Church or a charity of their choosing.
