All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Minnie Strong Miller - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 11, 1963 Services For Mrs. Miller Held On Saturday Services were held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Saturday morning for Mrs. Minnie Strong Miller, whose death occurred on Thursday evening, October 3, 1963 in a Vicksburg hospital, where she was taken after suffering a heart attack. Interment was in Silver Cross Cemetery. The Rev. William Parkerson, rector of Trinity church officiated. Mrs. Miller was an Episcopalian active in church work, a member of Trinity Guild. She was born in Yazoo City, Miss., seventy years d ago, coming to Tallulah to make her home twenty three years ago. Her husband C. E. Miller died in Tallulah some ten years ago. Although of a quite nature, Mrs. Miller had endeared herself to a large group of friends, who join her family in grieving for her. She made her home with two sons, Clyde Miller and Thomas Miller, who survive her and another son Curtis Miller of Tallulah and one daughter, Mrs. A. M. Shelton of Waterproof, La. and six granddaughters. Pallbearers were: W. L. Rountree, Bob White, Edward Yerger, Shields Bray, Mac Cagnolatti, George Spinks, Warren Mills and John Taylor.
