Miller - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 19, 1952 Luther Miller, Veteran Lumber inspector, Dies Luther C. Miller inspector for Chicago Mill & Lumber Company since 1936 died at a Vicksburg hospital Sunday, December 14, after a long illness. He had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 12 years. Funeral services were held at Crothers Funeral Chapel at two o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. J. Daniel Gilliam officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Miller, and three sons, Luther T., Curtis and Clyde all of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. A. M. Shelton, Jr., of Waterproof and three grandchildren; also two brothers, W. C. Miller, Bowling Green, Ky; H. C. Miller, Osceola, Ark.; and three sisters, Mrs. D. T. Lorenze, Salina, Kansas; Mrs. M. T. Link, Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. E. M. Skaggs, of Oklahoma. Pallbearers were George Eggleston, Malcolm Cagnolatti, Clyde Clark, W. L. Rountree, M. A. Wroten and J. E. Furr, Sr.
