All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Jack Miller - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post May 13, 1947 MILLER FUNERAL DUE IN TALLULAH TALLULAH, La., May 13 -- Funeral services were planned today for Jack Miller, about 35 years old, who reportedly took his own life Sunday afternoon. Operator of local taxicabs and a night club, Mr. Miller died Sunday afternoon. Police officer R. R. Holt said Miller, despondent over ill health, had shot himself with a 32-20 revolver. Crothers Funeral Home was in Charge of arrangements. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife and a daughter in Tallulah, also other relatives in Red Bay, Ala, He had been in Tallulah for five or six years.
