All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Audrey Elaine Melton - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 17, 2008 TALLULAH ­— Audrey Elaine Melton died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at her home. She was 63. Mrs. Melton was born in Jonesville, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 30 years. She was a nurse’s aide. Survivors include a son, James H. Melton Jr. of Downsville, La.; five daughters, Tammie Roberts and Lanna Melton, both of West Monroe, Michelle Favinger and Judy Little, both of Hernando, Miss. and Sarah McClure of Vicksburg; four brothers, Steve Mathis of El Dorado, Ark., Sam Mathis of Tallulah, James P. Mathis Jr. of Shreveport and Kenneth Mathis of Atlanta; six sisters, Dorothy Johnston of Doyline, La., Joan Campbell, Judy Josey, and Jeanette Edwards all of Tallulah, Geraldine McClure of Delta and Sheila Thomas of Bastrop; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
