All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Dessie Mae Meek - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 18, 1999 Graveside services for Mrs. Dessie Mae Meek, 94, of Tallulah, were held Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe with Rev. Bud Traylor officiating. Services were held under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mrs. Meek died Monday, August 9, 1999 at the Madison Parish Hospital. She was born in Arkansas and had lived in Louisiana more than 50 years. She was a retired seamstress and a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe. Survivors include: one son: Paul Meek. Dallas. Texas: one daughter: Betty Moberley, Tallulah: five grandchildren. 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren: and one sister: Orel Page, West Monroe.
