All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Frances Brown Meehan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 18, 1957 Mrs. Meehan Dies In Tallulah After Lengthy Illness Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Brown Meehan, 70, of Hope, Arkansas, was held at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church with the Rev. William F. Mayo officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Mrs. Meehan who had been visiting here for the past four months, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. L. J. Kathan, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Meehan was a member of the Methodist Church of Hope, Ark. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lige Brown of Hope. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Kathan include another sister, Mrs. Carrie Hudson, of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Walter and Kenneth Brown of Brinkley, Ark., and D. C. Brown of Texarkana., Texas, and her husband, George S. Meehan of Hope, Ark. Pallbearers were Mandeville Kell, Stuart Moberley, Harry Holt, Cliff Adams, Bill Adams, Warren Patrick, Malcolm Cagnolatti and W. M. Scott, Jr.
