McMillan Madison Parish, LA From The Tallulah Madison Journal (LA), January 23, 1926 C. C. McMILLAN Mr. C. C. McMillan died in Vicksburg at 11:30 o'clock Thursday morning having been taken there last Saturday from Tallulah for treatment. Deceased was 48 years of age and had resided in Madison parish for about 20 years, being lately engaged in clerical work. Until lately he was identified with the Duckport Mercantile Company, of Duckport, La., and which store he managed for several years before coming to Tallulah. At the time of his death Mr. McMillan was district manager for the Henry N. Levy Company of Vicksburg and had an office in the Post inn Hotel Building in Tallulah. Possessor of a pleasing personality Mr. McMillan made friends easily. He was held in high esteem by those who knew him. His friends will regret to learn of his passing away. Mr. McMillan is survived by three sisters, Mrs. J. D. Seab, Mrs. F. A. Seab and Miss Emma McMillan; and three brothers, E. L., L. M. and O. D.. all of whom reside near Roxie, Miss. The remains were shipped to White apple, Miss,, Friday morning where the remains were buried.
