All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Myrtis McMichael - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 27, 1990 Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtis McMichael, 88, were at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Estes officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. McMichael died Wednesday, June 20 at the Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro. She was a native of Mississippi and had lived in Tensas Parish for the past 60 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Newellton Church of Christ. Survivors include five sons, William H. McMichael Jr. of Baytown, Tex., Clarence L. McMichael of Tallulah, Sloan (Pete) McMichael of Monroe, Homer Neal McMichael of Ferriday and William H. McMichael III of Natchez, Miss.; six daughters, Ada DeWeese of Tallulah, Grace Talbert of Vidor, Tex., Beatrice Barfield of Ferriday, Orra Kleinman of Gonzales, Sara Jones of Winnsboro and Clara Bourgue of Lake Charles; two brothers, Elmer Adcock of Jackson, Miss. and DeWitt Adcock of Sallis, Miss.; two sisters, Vernon Reynolds and Betty Mae McCrory, both of Sallis; 34 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bill DeWeese, Donald DeWeese, Kenneth Jones, Jimmy D. Jones, Mike Jones and Steve Jones.
